Wild Moments are open to artists and movers of all abilities. Classes begin with a somatic-based warm-up, often beginning on the floor with a focus on stimulating brain connectivity with breath and synchronization of body movement patterns. As class progresses, expect moments of exploration, which might include voicework, improvisation, partner work, or moments of rigor and dynamic athleticism, such as floorwork or physical repetition. Classes are designed to incorporate creative & collaborative practices, as well as our methodology of Making In The Moment – A Performance Practice. This simply means, come to class with a curious, creative, open mind, ready to play! Expect moments of decision-making, creative tasks, and groupwork.
